So....You have decided you want to sell your home? Let's do a quick check list of "to do's".

1. Assess the time frames you believe will work within your daily schedule to get your home prepared for sale. Remember, there are no more than 24 hours in a day.

2. Take a look at any neglected maintenance and repair items that have been pushed back for too many days.

3. Pack up and remove all un-necessary "stuff" that you already know needs to go.

4. Clean, clean and clean some more! A clean home will sell far faster than a home that has just had a quick "tidying up".

5. Pets.......they are all dear to those who own them but remember, pets are like infants--they cannot clean up after themselves. Be very alert to any pet odors that may be a possible turn-off to a potential buyer.

6. Drive-by appearance. If your home is not easily visible on a normal street "drive-by" then perhaps you need to take a look at some corrective action on your current landscaping.
